All Greek Life Organizations at St. Mary’s are required to support a philanthropy and hold one charitable event annually. Ours is Heart for Hearing, a philanthropy with a focus on women’s speech and hearing. The Delta Zeta national organization began Heart for Hearing in 1954 and has been our focus ever since. We partner with the Starkey Foundation to achieve our goal to improve the lives of women who are hearing or speaking impaired.
Locally, our chapter also supports Sunshine Cottage, a San Antonio local school for deaf children.
